L'importanza della bambola

Già dalla preistoria, la bambola, ci faceva compagnia, e, se l'uomo di allora, di certo non ci assomigliava così tanto, la bambola seppur fatta di stracci o argilla, aveva lo stesso ruolo di oggi.

Giocare con una bambola per un bambino è importante, molte ricerche scientifiche hanno dimostrato che questa attività aiuta a sviluppare davvero molte abilità diverse: intellettive, psicologiche, emotive e sociali.

Sapevate che il bambino giocando con la bambola acquisisce consapevolezza? e che, mentre sviluppa la sua immaginazione, riesce a proiettarsi in situazioni nuove così da ampliare il suo vocabolario, sviluppare empatia, capacità di socializzazione, insomma, semplicemente impara come muoversi in un contesto sociale, in sostanza a stare al mondo. Tutto questo solo giocando con la sua bambola.

Una volta diventati grandi credo sia dunque opportuno voltarci indietro e gettare uno sguardo diverso nei confronti di un oggetto che non fa solo parte della nostra cultura, fa parte della nostra specie... così penso che i musei della bambola vadano preservati, accuditi e sponsorizzati, magari aperti...

Personalmente mi sono dedicata alla bambola antica in biscuit dell'800, altri collezionisti si preoccupano di bambole ben più antiche, e ogni contributo è importante, a suo modo anche il collezionista di bambole contemporanee non fa altro che ripetere le orme di chi prima di lui iniziò in epoche lontane a custodire degli oggetti che si pensava facessero parte del mondo dei bambini, i grandi d'altronde, avevano ben altro con cui giocare.

La bambola in biscuit per quello che ci vedo io è un'importante commistione di storia, ruolo e arte e trovo meraviglioso ed eccitante che per ogni bambola antica che mi capita tra le mani sia necessaria una certa dose di ricerca e studio, ma anche che per ciascuna di esse mi venga in mente di soffermarmi sulle altre mani per le quali è passata, così ognuna di queste bambole pur essendo di per se già unica, perché fatta a mano da veri e propri artisti, ha una sua storia che la rende speciale nel mondo e nel tempo.

Per tutti questi motivi il collezionista di bambole svolge un ruolo importante. un collezionista consapevole si preoccupa di selezionare gli oggetti di cui si pone a custode e fortunatamente l'amore per essi porta di conseguenza ad approfondirne la storia, così da optare per le migliori soluzioni per conservarli.

La bambola antica d'altronde per arrivare fino a noi deve essere sopravvissuta a diversi bambini del passato, anche questo dovrebbe farci pensare, perché il rispetto e la cura per la nostra bambola è un'altra abilità che questo meraviglioso oggetto ci insegna da sempre, tuttavia la fragilità, l'incuria di alcuni, semplicemente il tempo, ne mette a dura prova la conservazione e un buon collezionista sa se affidarsi a l'uno o l'altro restauratore.

Dal momento che esistono infinite varietà di bambole e non tutti sanno o possono restaurare tutto, ritengo che esista un'etica, il restauro della bambola, deve avere un fine, quello di contribuire a tramandare questi meravigliosi oggetti di arte e storia.

Parlando di un giocattolo forse questo discorso sembrerà troppo serio, ma i collezionisti sono sempre meno e di questi i giovani che se ne occupano davvero pochi, credo che questo sia un aspetto che dovrebbe farci riflettere ed agire con consapevolezza, attenzione, forse con una certa dose di attivismo in più, almeno fosse per la riapertura dei musei.

Once we have grown up, I think it is therefore appropriate to look back and take a different look at an object that is not only part of our culture, it is part of our species ... so I think that doll museums must be preserved, cared for and sponsored. , maybe open ...

Personally I have dedicated myself to the antique nineteenth-century biscuit doll, other collectors are concerned with much older dolls, and every contribution is important, in its own way even the collector of contemporary dolls does nothing but repeat in the footsteps of those before him. it began in distant times to keep objects that were thought to be part of the world of children, the grown-ups, on the other hand, had much more to play with.

The biscuit doll for what I see is an important mixture of history, role and art and I find it wonderful and exciting that for every antique doll that I get in my hands a certain amount of research and study is necessary, but also that for each of them it occurs to me to dwell on the other hands through which it has passed, so each of these dolls, although already unique in itself, because it is handmade by real artists, has its own history that makes it special in the world and over time.

For all these reasons the doll collector plays an important role. a conscious collector takes care to select the objects of which he places himself as guardian and fortunately the love for them consequently leads to deepen their history, so as to opt for the best solutions to preserve them.

The ancient doll, on the other hand, to get to us must have survived several children of the past, this should also make us think, because respect and care for our doll is another skill that this wonderful object has always taught us, however the fragility, the neglect of some, simply time, puts a strain on conservation and a good collector knows whether to rely on one or the other restorer.

Since there are infinite varieties of dolls and not everyone knows or can restore everything, I believe that there is an ethics, the restoration of the doll must have a purpose, that of helping to pass on these wonderful objects of art and history. Speaking of a toy, perhaps this speech will seem too serious, but there are fewer and fewer collectors and of these the young people who take care of it very few, I think this is an aspect that should make us reflect and act with awareness, attention, perhaps with a certain dose of activism more, at least if it were for the reopening of museums.
